Gruppe 11 is an artist collective that was founded in Bergen in 2011. For the exhibition I Folkets Navn at Galleri BOA, Gruppe 11 invited the residents of Oslo to directly influence the shape and form of the exhibition by inviting them to a democratic election to decide the theme of the exhibition. Gruppe 11 agreed upon and selected eight themes and added the possibility for people to write their own wished for theme on the ballot.
