The Brutalist Playground

Assemble, Simon Terrill

The Brutalist Playground is a life-sized soft reconstruction of four lost concrete play sculptures from the 1960s and 1970s by Turner Prize-winning UK collective Assemble and artist Simon Terrill. The exhibition is both a landscape for children to climb and explore, and a reflection on changing values in architecture and society. New wall-scale collage works by Oslo-based artist Elise Storsveen will also be on show.
