This surrealistic movie was well before Luis Bunuel's Le Chien Andalou and is therefore a pioneer in the genre. Based on a manuscript by the infamous Theatre writer Antonin Artaud, it is directed by feminist activist Germaine Dulac. It will be shown with a live score by Lori Goldston (cello) and Aidan Baker (guitar). It will be introduced by filmmaker Ihra Lill Tviberg Scharning. Welcome!
