Through varying visual media, Wendimagegn Belete explores how inherited memories transferred across generations circulate throughout our own time. Belete's work is heavily inspired by Ethiopian stories, identity and history. He paints excerpts of Ethiopias cultural past and present in energetic and highly detailed images and through his paintings, he seeks to transcend through what is visually represented.
