In the exhibition "Substance between cells", Amanda Selinder is inspired by the behavior of bacteria in biofilm and their relationship to metals. Using the bacteria from her own body, Selinder cultivates the biofilm herself, and in the exhibition at SOFT she shows a comprehensive installation where this microbiological material meets indigo, blueberry, scab, copper, iron, salt and vinegar.
