Man's relation to the landscape and nature are central motives in Andreas Siqueland's artistic practice. It is a free and open, but steady dialogue he conducts with his surroundings; the woods, the mountains, the sea. A direct presence - as close as he can come - seems to be fundamental. He places himself inside the motive, observes, attempting to find the essence.
